The farm, originally owned by the father, is located alongside Blue Valley Road in Cameron Highlands. After retirement, the son took on the responsibility of tending to the small vegetable garden. Starting with traditional soil-based cultivation, he embarked on a gradual transition to the Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) hydroponic system. This method involves plant growth in a recirculated stream of water containing all the dissolved nutrients. The NFT system is built with two layers, as he persistently experiments and learns. Over time, he discovered the art of nurturing a diverse range of lettuce varieties. Additionally, he occasionally assists others in growing vegetables if he has extra land. Furthermore, he also provides dissolved nutrient solution services. Therefore, he is running a business that involves supplying fertilizers.
